How to Place MT5 Indicators on MT5 Crude Oil Charts

Step 1: Open The Platform Navigator Panel

Open the Navigator window as shown below - Go to ' View ' menu (then click it) & then select ' MetaTrader 5 Navigator ' window (click), or From the Standard Tool Bar click the 'MetaTrader 5 Navigator' button or press keyboard short cut keys 'Ctrl+N'

On the MetaTrader 5 Navigator window panel, select "Technical Indicators" , (DoubleClick)

Step 2: Expand MetaTrader 5 Indicators Menu on the Navigator

Expand MetaTrader 5 indicator menu by clicking the expand button key marker (+) or double-click 'indicators' menu, after this the MT5 button key will appear as (-) and will now display & illustrate a list as shown below.

From the Above window you can then place any MT5 indicator that you want in the MT5 crude oil trading chart.

Placing Average Directional Movement on a Crude Oil Chart

Step 1: Select the Average Directional Movement Index button on the MT5 list of indicators shown below:

Step 2: Double-click the ADX Button, and click ok to place the indicator on the chart as displayed below:

Edit ADX Oil Technical Indicator Settings

To Adjust the Settings, right click on the ADX, select properties setting and then edit the properties of technical indicator using popup menu that pops up and click ok button once you change the settings.

The following pop up window appears & ADX settings can be edited from this pop up window.
