How to Place MT5 Technical Indicators on MT5 Charts

Step 1: Open Navigator Window on Forex Trading Platform

Open Navigator window as shown & illustrated below: Go to 'View' menu (click on it), then select 'Navigator' window (click), or From Standard Tool Bar click the 'Navigator' button or press keyboard short cut keys 'Ctrl+N'

On MT5 Navigator window, select "Indicators", (Double Click)

Step 2: Expand the MT5 indicators Menu on the Navigator

Expand the menu by clicking the expand button marker (+) or double click the 'indicators' menu, after this the MT5 button will appear as (-) and will now display a list as shown below.

From Above window panel you can then add any MT5 indicator you want in the MetaTrader 5 forex chart.

Placing Zigzag on FX Trading Chart

Step 1: Select the Zigzag button on the MT5 list of technical indicators as shown below:

Step 2: Double click Zigzag Button, & click okay to place it on the forex chart as shown & illustrated below:

Edit Zigzag FX Indicator Settings

To Alter Settings, right click in Zigzag, choose properties & then edit settings using pop up menu that pops & click ok button key after you've changed settings.

The following popup appears & the Zigzag settings can be edited from this popup.
