How to Place MT5 Technical Indicators in MT5 Charts

Step 1: Open Navigator Window on Software

Open Navigator panel as shown and illustrated below: Go to 'View' menu (click on it), then choose 'Navigator' window (click), or From Standard Tool-Bar click 'Navigator' button or press keyboard shortcut keys 'Ctrl+N'

On MT5 Navigator window, select "Indicators", (DoubleClick)

Step 2: Expand the MT5 indicators Menu on the Navigator

Expand the menu by clicking expand button marker (+) or double-click 'indicators' menu, after this the MetaTrader 5 button will then appear as (-) and will now display a list as shown below.

From Above window you can then add any MT5 indicator you want in the MetaTrader 5 chart.

Placing Zig zag on Trading Chart

Step 1: Select the Zigzag button on the MT5 list of indicators as illustrated below:

Step 2: Doubleclick Zigzag Button, and click okay to place it on the chart as shown & illustrated below:

Edit Zigzag Indicator Settings

To Change Settings, right click in Zigzag, select properties and then edit settings using pop up menu that pops & click ok button after you've changed settings.

The following pop up appears and the Zigzag settings can be edited from this popup.
