How to Place MT5 Indicators on MetaTrader 5 Charts

Step 1: Open Navigator Window on Platform

Open Navigator panel as shown and illustrated below: Go to 'View' menu (click on it), then choose the ' MT5 Navigator ' panel (click), or From Standard Tool Bar click 'MT5 Navigator' button or press keyboard short cut keys 'Ctrl+N'

On MetaTrader 5 Navigator window, choose "Indicators", (Double Click)

Step 2: Expand the MT5 indicators Menu on the Navigator

Expand the MetaTrader 5 indicator menu by clicking expand button marker (+) or double-click 'indicators' menu, after this the MT5 button will appear as (-) and will now show a listing as illustrated below.

From Above panel you can then add any MetaTrader 5 indicator you want on the MT5 chart.

Placing Bollinger Band

Step 1: Select the Bollinger Bands button on the MT5 list of indicators as illustrated below:

Step 2: Doubleclick Bollinger Band Button, & click okay to insert the indicator on chart as shown & displayed below:

Edit Indicator Settings

To Change Settings, right-click in Bollinger Bands, choose properties & then edit settings using pop up menu which pops & click ok button after you have changed settings.

The following pop up appears and Bollinger Band settings can be edited from this pop up window.
