Templates on the Charts Menu in the MT5 Platform

Templates option is provided within the charts menu on the MT5 forex trading platform. The MT5 template is used by many traders to save their trading systems, this way they can load the forex system on a new chart directly from this template option without having to put the forex chart indicators one by one every time they open a new chart. MT5 Change Template - traders can also use these MT5 template option to save more than one forex trading templates and they keep changing from one MT5 chart template to another when trading on MT5 forex charts

Save a Forex System as a Template on the MT5 Platform

For example as a trader you might come up with a Forex trading system shown below.

This trading system takes 5 minutes to set up, It would take you 5 min to set it on every forex chart you open. But the MT5 chart MT5 chart template will save you this time by saving this forex trading system as a forex MT5 chart template and to place this MT5 chart MT5 chart template on another forex chart you only need to load the MT5 chart template on the MT5 Platform.

To save the above forex trading system you will open the MT5 chart templates button within the charts menu in MetaTrader 5 and use the save MT5 chart template option.

After selecting the save MT5 chart template button the following popup will appear and you can save the MT5 chart MT5 chart template and give it a name as shown below.

The first step is to give MetaTrader 5 forex chart MT5 chart template a name, we name our MT5 chart template as tradeforextrading & click the save button key.

Load a Template on MT5 - MT5 Change Template on MT5

To load a MT5 chart template on the MT5 platform, go the charts menu on the MT5 Platform select the MT5 chart templates button and select the submenu item for load MT5 chart template. This will load the named MT5 chart template on to the new forex chart as shown below.

The named MT5 chart template on the MT5 Platform is shown on the list above: this is a short cut for the available MT5 chart templates that have been saved on the MT5 platform. Another alternative or option is to use the 'Load Template', which is the second option marked as 'Load Template' on the MT5 chart template menu sub items on the MT5.

Remove Template on MT5 - MT5 Change Template Remove Template

The third option in the MT5 chart template sub menus is the remove MT5 chart template; this sub menu item will remove any MT5 chart MT5 chart template that is loaded on the forex chart.
