Acceleration Deceleration AC Indicator Analysis Signals

Developed & Created by Bill William

The AC indicator tracks how the trend's momentum speeds up or slows down. It's popular for analyzing both stock markets and price movements in general.

This indicator changes direction before price changes its direction.

The AC is used to generate early market signals of the trend reversals.

If AC changes the direction then the price direction will follow soon.

FX Analysis and Generating Signals

Zero-line is the point where the energy is at balance with acceleration/deceleration.

If the Acceleration Deceleration metric surpasses the Zero mark, it implies that the upward push of acceleration is more likely to maintain its course.

If Acceleration Deceleration is lesser than Zero, then it is easier for the deceleration to continue in the downwards movement.

The Zero point isn't regarded as a buy or sell trading signal when it is crossed.

A buy/sell trade position is generated/derived when color of the AC changes from color red to green.

Buy Trading Signal

When the present column changes from red to green this is interpreted and viewed as a buy.

When the present column is coloured red, you can not buy.

A buy trade signal occurs when the indicator exceeds Zero and the current bar is green.

When the AC is lesser than zero and the present bar is green a confirmation trading signal is required for a buy trade. 3 green bars is also another confirmation.

Sell Trade Signal

When present column shifts from green to red this is interpreted as a sell.

When the present column is color green, you can not sell.

A trading signal to sell is triggered when the indicator falls below zero and the current bar appears red.

If AC is more than zero and the current bar is red, a confirmation trading signal is needed for a sell. Also, 3 green bars is another confirmation.
