As a trader, you might want to trade EURAUD, but the EURAUD quote might not be on this MT4 list of quotes, as shown below.
In the MT4 quotes list shown, just five currency pairs appear. EURAUD is missing from the view.
To see other EURAUD pairs not on the list, right-click in the market watch window. A new quotes panel will open, like in the image below.
You can then select 'Show All' forex quotes button that will then display all the trading quotes available on the MetaTrader 4 software, from this listing of all quotes you will then select the EURAUD quote & then open the EURAUD chart so as to display the EURAUD chart on this MT4 software.
