A buy signal gets generated when the oscillator moves above the Zero line. As long as the indicator stays above zero line price will remain bullish, and the trend will be upwards.

A sell signal gets generated when the oscillator moves below the Zero line. As long as the indicator stays below zero line price will remain bearish, and the trend will be downwards
