Objects Listing on Charts Menu on the MT4 Platform

On the MT4 platform, charts menu options, the second button is the "Objects" listing button. The objects list is used to show a listing of all object that are placed on the chart, this list will include objects like indicators, trend lines, text labels and any object which has been placed on MetaTrader chart.

Objects List

The objects list menu has the following submenu options:

  1. Objects List
  2. Delete Last
  3. Delete All Chosen
  4. Delete All Arrows
  5. Unchoose All
  6. Undo Delete

The first option is the "Objects Listing"

To see everything you've put on the chart you're using, click the button that lists all the items: it will show you everything on the chart, just like in the examples below:

On this chart, the things mentioned before are put on the chart. To get rid of everything, pick each item by clicking on it, checking the box, & hitting delete.

display - this option will show the object decided on and chosen and discover it at the trading chart.

Edit - Can be used to edit settings of any of the object within this "objects list"

The other submenu items on this objects list are:

  • Delete Last - Delete the last object that was placed on the chart
  • Delete All Selected - Choose some objects by double-clicking on them, then choose this option to delete all chosen.
  • Delete All Arrows - Deletes all arrows
  • Unselect All - Unselect all objects which may and might have been selected on the trading charts.
  • Undo Delete - Undo a delete and put back a deleted object on the chart

To access the objects list utilizing a rapid command, a trader can press the keyboard combination "Ctrl+B," which serves as a direct shortcut to this menu option.
