Grid, Volumes, Auto Scroll and MT4 Chart Shift Options in the MT4 Platform
MT4 Grid
The MetaTrader 4 grid button on the trading charts menu option of the MT4 Software Platform is used to draw grid lines as is shown below. A trader may prefer to trade with grids on chart or not and will use this button key to show or hide the Grid.
The MT4 Grid button is displayed below (Short-cut for this menu is Ctrl+G)

MT4 Volumes Indicator
Volumes in XAUUSD Trading represent tick volumes or number of times the tick for price changes during a particular time period. The higher the tick shifts the higher the volumes. These volumes in XAUUSD Trading are used to estimate the number of traders who participate in the market.
Volumes are drawn as green bars below each xauusd gold candlestick, & the height of these green bars represent the tick volume for a particular candle. (Short Cut button for Volumes : Ctrl+L)

MT4 Auto Scroll
Auto scroll when it's activated will automatically scroll to most present candle bar for every chart that's opened. Hence, most recent information is displayed & as a trader you don't have to scroll to these recent candle bars every time you open a new chart.

MT4 Charts Shift
This MT4 Chart Shift button moves the chart closer to the middle, so the newest candlestick is not on the far right side of the MT4 software: it moves it toward the center. Traders like to trade with the newest candle in the middle because it makes it easier to look at the chart's price movements when they are closer to the center.
For the example, the MT4 Charts Shift button appears below as a downward arrow. Press this MT4 chart shift button in the chart menus. The area is highlighted by a rectangle below. The last candle shifts rightward to that spot. See the MT4 Charts Shift example shown below.
