What's Divergence CFD Trading Definition? - Divergence is a cfd setup used by CFD traders - cfds divergence trading involves looking at a cfd chart and a cfd indicator - for example MACD indicator.
To find this cfds divergence trading setup find 2 chart points which cfd price makes a new swing high or a new swing low but the MACD technical indicator does not do the same, this cfd trading signals a divergence between cfd price & MACD technical indicator momentum.
For a divergence cfd setup we look for two chart points, two highs that form an M shape on the cfds trading chart or 2 lows that form a W-Shape on the cfds trading chart. Then look for same M shape or W Shape on the CFD Trading MACD indicator.
Example of a CFDs Divergence Setup Trade Setup:
In the cfd chart below we identify 2 chart points, point A and point B (swing highs). These 2 chart points form an M shape on the cfd price chart.
Then using cfd trading MACD technical indicator we check the highs made by MACD technical indicator, these are highs that are direct below Chart points marked A and B.
We then draw one line on the cfds trading chart & another line on the MACD cfds trading technical indicator.
