How to Open a CFD Chart on MT4 Software
Once you've opened a practice cfd account the next step is to open a CFDs chart so as to begin trading.
For this example let's begin with a blank screen on the MetaTrader 4 interface.
To open a new chart from the cfd example explained below, click the 'File' tab at the tops left corner as illustrated below, then choose the option 'New Chart'.

After clicking 'New Chart' a drop down menu will appear with a list of cfd instruments that as a trader you can select which to open. For example the first cfd instrument in the selection is the CFD, clicking CFD Trading will open the chart for this cfd.

Before placing any trade on the MT4 cfds trading software, you will be required to log in to your account & get to be authenticated before gaining access to the account. Authentication is checking to see if the details you provide for User Name & Pass Word are the correct details.
To start trading on MetaTrader 4 platform, just click on 'File', then tap & click 'Login' button key from the file drop down menu as displayed below.
How Do You in Trading CFD trade CFDs on MT4 Software?
As a trader once you click this login button key, then a popup will appear prompting you to in put your Username and Password as shown and illustrated below:

Once you in put your Username & Password you will then have to choose the server: because this is a demo cfd trading account, for this instance you will then choose 'Demo', if it was a real cfds trading account/live cfds trading account then you would have to choose 'Real' Server on this option by clicking drop-down arrow on the right side of the above text box.
Then tick box 'Save Account Information'
Then Click 'Sign in'
Once you click sign in your details will be authenticated and you'll then have access to your MetaTrader 4 cfd account and when logged in to your trading account you can begin to trade & place new orders in the cfd market on the MT4 platform. If you do not have login details you can get these details by registering a practice trading account with a broker.
