Setting Up MT5 CFD Platform

After you have signed up for a cfd demo practice account - you will use the account log in details & you as a trader can use then download and install MetaTrader 5 cfd software on your computer. If you have not installed any software before go to the folder where you downloaded it (don't know where that is, just do this Press both Ctrl & J i.e. CTRL+J or (CTRL+Y) Keys on your keyboard, and a list of your downloads will pop up), double click the download MT5 file and click next, next until you finish installing.

After you have installed the MT5 cfd software you will then open the MT5 cfds platform from the begin menu of your PC computer. After you have opened the MT5 cfds platform you will see the MT5 cfds platform interface you will be working with and it may seem complicated at first but it is not.

At the 'top left corner' of the MT5 cfds platform software click on the 'File' Menu, a drop down menu appears, scroll to where you see 'Login' and click it. You will then be prompted to enter the 'username' and 'password' that you got when you registered for a MT5 practice trading account on your cfd broker's site.' You are now logged into your MT5 cfds platform & you are ready to begin cfd on the MT5 platform.

After this you will see your cfd account balance displayed just below the cfds charts and you can now start using the MT5 cfds platform to place demo trades on the cfds trading market.
