Before placing any cfd trading on the MetaTrader 5 cfds trading software, you'll be required to log in to your MT5 cfd trading account.

As a trader you will use your cfd account login number and password to login to your MT5 cfd trading account.

Your MT5 account login will then get authenticated - authentication is checking to see if the details you provide for User-name and Password are correct details for your cfd trading account.

Once you login to your MT5 cfd account on the MT5 platform using the procedure described below you can then open cfd charts and place cfds trades using this online MT5 platform.

To start cfd on MT5 platform, just click on 'File', then tap and click 'Login' button from the file drop down menu as shown below.
