Mastering the MT5 Bitcoin Trading Platform: Learn to Navigate the Bitcoin Workspace

To begin using MT5 before trading Bitcoin, learn how to use the platform's workspace. A new Bitcoin trader must learn how to use the workspace, and save it to easily study Bitcoin price changes while trading Bitcoin BTCUSD online.

The software trading workspace will include Bitcoin charts, chart toolbars, other trading instruments such as FX currencies and Stock iindices, technical chart indicators, trading analysis tools, open orders window and trading balance window. A trader will need to know how to organize all these items on their MT5 platform software to come up with a trading workspace suitable for them. A trader can for example make a decision to organize their workspace as shown below.

If as a trader your MT5 platform does not have any of the above windows after installing and downloading just press CTRL+T, then press CTRL+M and then CTRL+N - After that your workspace should look like the workspace above.

If you as a trader want to make a panel disappear just click again on CTRL+T, or CTRL+M or CTRL+N - depending on the window you want to disappear.

Saving a Workspace on the MT5 Platform

On the MT5 software you may want to save your workspace the way it is so that it is loaded in the same format the next time you login to your platform to trade BTC/USD Crypto.

The MT5 platform allows you to save your current workspace after organizing it. This workspace includes Bitcoin charts and other trading windows alongside any applied technical indicators or additional data specific to those Bitcoin charts.

In the picture above, the save button for your workspace is labeled "Default," which is what you have set right now. If you want to create a new workspace with a different name, click this button after setting up your preferred workspace and give it a new name. For example, you might name a new workspace "Bitcoin Trading," just like in the example shown above.

There is another option called "Save Template" that allows you to save a system you have put on a chart. You may want to utilize the same system on a different trading chart without having to start all over by placing one indicator after the other all over again.

Say you set up four indicators on a BTCUSD bitcoin chart for a strategy. Save it as a template. Load that template on another chart to reuse it.

Saving a Work-Space

To save an MT5 workspace, which includes all open charts and attached indicators, click the "Save Workspace" button available in the Bitcoin Trading Software Platform interface.

How to Load a Workspace in the MT5

To conserve the configured Workspace - Initiate the 'Save Profile' command, and then assign the profile the specific label "Bitcoin Trading."

To load this Work-Space any other time, click the short cut above that is marked "Bitcoin Trading"

To load the workspace dedicated to the British Pound, please select the shortcut labeled 'British Pound' from above.

Saving a Template in MT5 Software Platform

If as a BTCUSD CryptoCurrency trader you want to save the above trading system on your Bitcoin platform workspace, click the templates button like is illustrated above, then select "Save Template" as shown above, then specify the "name" of the trading system and click the 'okay'.

To put a template on another chart, click the "Load Templates Button" like shown above, and then pick where to load the system from. You can also pick and download a trading system if you've already downloaded one, or you can pick a trading system that's saved in your computer's download folders at C: / Downloads / Name of Trading System.

To incorporate a saved template, a shortcut list of these templates is provided, as shown above: selecting any entry from this trading system shortcut list will initiate its loading onto the current view.
